I would think it wouldn't be too good for business for the car wash either.

I recently noticed this and I don't get off at that exit very often. I was coming from Mentor to pick up my fiancee from Stevens Auto Glaze and then realized that I had to pass it and then turn around due to the island.

Two other hazards to be aware of on Vine Street at the Westbound exit of Route 2. First, the median needs to be painted in florescent yellow paint. I've seen many cars drive right into it at night. Secondly, the eastbound vine street left turn lane needs better signage. Too many people are getting in that lane and going straight, cutting off the cars in the left lane who are going straight. I almost got hit by one of these idiots. Now I watch for it and yield to them, but they are oblivious to the fact that they should not be going straight in that lane.

With expanded lanes and Route 2 traffic funneled to this area (whether rightly or wrongly) it has become just too dangerous to make a left hand turn from Harvard to Vine. I understand the inconvenience (even though this does not directly apply to me) but, again, the increased volume, with the removal of the south side of Vine St. on ramp removed, has made a left turn from Harvard to Vine, much too dangerous.

i live on e. 365th and its TERRIBLE!!!..i just don't know what they were thinking!!!...and if they did they think going thru the parking lot is any safer??..they took our west rt 2 ramp...then we can't turn left off our street..ODOT sucks on this one!!!!!

I see people daily hit the island because they don't know its there.
Isn't it illegal to cut through a parking lot? It's like the city gave people no choice. Not to mention, the police should watch people speed through the lot some day. You really have to watch on teh way to your car, It's ridiculous!

Government at its finest here. What a waste of money and they have put citizens safety at risk because of the concrete center island right by the freeway exit near Stevens Auto Glaze and the Electric Carwash. People often go the wrong way on the other side of the cement barrier, plus making are now making unsafe U turns to get to businesses. The government is hurting businesses and putting peoples safety at risk.

The median needs to have flashers or some sort of alert. The street goes right onto the median unless you turn to the right. It needs at least to painted bright yellow. Cars drive up on the median and it is dangerous and scary when a driver realizes they are on the median.

I would like to say that my parents live out there and that they tell me it is a free for all with that middle turning lane; people drive down the turning lane as if it were their personal road. They travel down the turning lane for more than three streets at a time. This is what causes a lot of the problems. God bless.

Several months ago during the summer the island was removed and more turning lanes were put in for both directions. Life is so much easier since this was done.
