With the growth of businesses and the increased traffic on Hwy 74 in Monroe, the truck restriction needs to be moved 2.8 miles WEST. The safe navigation need of residents and travelers can be greatly improved by moving the notification and truck restriction 2.8 miles west on Roosevelt Blvd. [ Hwy 74 ]. With the addition of Poplin Place , the medical center , and secrest commons the traffic congestion is at times dangerous . Trucks will stay in the left lane going east until Hwy 200 which is where the congestion reduces and the road opens to 3 lanes. With the delay of the monroe bypass this issue will only get worse....
