Hi Dennis,
Unfortunately, when the road was widened, PennDot felt there was a stronger need to put the light at Liongate instead of Davis Rd., which would have slowed traffic down because of the volumes. According to West Pikeland Twp., the road study that was completed for Davis Rd. and 113 did not have enough traffic to warrant a light.
I hear your pain. When I turn right onto Davis, I stay in the right lane and on the shoulder so that I don't get cut off, which had happened before I started this habit.
No one will do anything about it. Maybe we can get both Uwchlan and West Pikeland to take turns sitting in the church across from you. Maybe a consistent presence will slow people down, for at least a little while. Can you contact Uwchlan and I'll contact West Pikeland.
