Crews have installed additional drainage measures at this location to address the issue. They will inspect the site during upcoming rain events to ascertain the effectiveness of the fix.

The additional drainage measures did not completely alleviate the issue. Staff will be meeting early next week with the contractor that performed the bridge improvements. It appears that additional paving work is needed in order to address the problem.

City Staff met with the contractor this afternoon regarding this issue. Weather permitting, the necessary work should be completed within the next two weeks. A target date should be available tomorrow and will posted to this issue stream.

The contractor has scheduled the necessary work to begin, weather permitting, at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, July 24. They estimate that all work would be completed by mid-afternoon that day.

The contractor mobilized this morning and attempted to repair the issue using infrared equipment to heat and reform the asphalt; however, this approach was insufficient to the task. In order to address the issue ot the City's satisfaction, the contractor will be milling and resurfacing the east side of the bridge from joint to joint. As soon as the schedule for that work is set the information will posted to this issue stream.

Weather permitting, the milling and resurfacing work will be completed on Tuesday, July 30th.

The contractor completed milling and resurfacing of the bridge earlier today. This issue should now be fully resolved, but we will reinspect during the next rain invent to be certain.
