Residents of the Cohoes Hill neighborhood around the area of the Polish-American Association should not have to put up with the bar's music cranked up to volume 10 all night, vibrating everybody's houses and keeping people awake!
We should also not have to put up with the loud, drunken people staggering out all over the place into the middle of the street and making noise until 1AM every single weekend!
Not to mention all the drunk drivers who stumble out of the bar and then speed down the residential streets at 50 MPH as if they were racetracks!
Plus, I'll bet at least 1/2 of the people getting in their cars after a night of boozing it up over there every weekend are repeat DWI's!!
The other issue is that every Friday and Saturday night, the people who actually LIVE on this street have NO PLACE TO PARK because all the people who go to the bar take up every single parking space on the street!!!
I LIVE HERE!!! I shouldn't have to park 4 blocks away because every drunk in the city is parked right in front of my doorstep!
I understand that the Polish Association is a part of this community too, but I think that they and their patrons should be a little more considerate to the residents of this neighborhood who have to try to SLEEP at night!

As a matter of fact, I pay my own rent and am not on welfare, so your statement is untrue. And instead of attacking someone you know nothing about, why not work to fix the problem, and not just go on namecalling sprees just to make yourself look big and tough?
And this just proves my point-- You're probably one of the liquored-up people who has nothing better to do than go to the bar 3 nights a week and then gets into his car and speeds down the streets of this town all drunk and endangers everybody else's lives!
You're probably one of those people whose entire life is spent in one little town and lives all of it within 3 blocks of your house, so therefore all you know about is how to get wasted at the local bar all the time.
Why don't you get an education and try to get out of this run-down, dilapidated town like I'm trying to do, instead of drowning your problems with alcohol every night at the local saloon?

Yes, there are people who have been smoking pot up there because I smell it! There are always 17, 18, 19 year old kids who hang around out front, yelling and screaming and fighting!
And the parking situation is TERRIBLE for the people who live here in this neighborhood! During regular times there is no issue with parking.
But whenever there is a function at the bar, the patrons take up the WHOLE STREET!
I even had people who DOUBLE PARKED and BLOCKED MY CAR IN and I couldn't get out!
I didn't want to have to call the Cohoes Police, but I called them because there was no way I could get out and go to work!
