On June 7, at approximately 4:15pm our street experienced yet another flash flooding in our culdesac due to torrential rains and insufficient drainage. The storm drain pictured directly underneath the basketball hoop is the one and only stormdrain on our street. Rain water travels from Hickerson down the entire length of Oak Forest Ct eventually overfilling this one storm drain. This same flooding occurs on the opposite road of Dool Ct which also has only one storm drain. We’ve seen crews respond several days later. Once again we ask that the storm drain maintenance be addressed; storm water charges are a large percentage of our utilities bill. This is an ongoing problem that occurs every time it rains flooding our streets in our neighborhood.
