The last time the sign for Blagden Alley in that location was missing it took about 4 years for the DC government to replace it. The only way to get it done quickly is to get the Mayor to come to the neighborhood for a walking tour.

This is still not fixed... AND... because of it a bike was stolen yesterday. Someone had placed the sign pole back in the hole in the concrete temporarily, and an innocent bicyclist locked his bike to it. I watched a man with a grocery cart take the pole out of the hole and throw it to the ground (thus the bike was no longer locked to anything)... and then pick the bike up, put it in his grocery cart, and walk away! Unbelievable! Please DC... get your act together. Blagden Alley is now the hottest alley in all of DC. Please make a new road sign for it, and replace the sign pole permanently.

Nearly a year and a half later, this has FINALLY BEEN FIXED! Yay!
