I also agree. The HVCC students are very bad and dangerous drivers. I have stopped going anywhere that goes by the campus which means I no longer shop at the Price Chopper, Target or Walmart.

Good Neighbor has nothing to do with 7 Morrison Ave. I'm confused why is this address out their as Street Address? This is a neighbor on Stow Avenue reporting this, do you just pick any address and throw it out there?

You're right! This is an absolutely horrible intersection! The entire thing needs to be redesigned!! I don't think that the DOT or the county have any CLUE on the amount of traffic which goes up and down this street to H.V.C.C.

People FLY over the Route 378 bridge at 70 MPH, then SLAM on their brakes when they come to all the traffic stopped at the traffic light.

Can't we get some sort of a roundabout built here? Or at least a better-designed intersection which is less dangerous for EVERYONE in this area?

i live right off stowe ave and i see it 100% of the time expecially in the morning when classes are about to start and when classes are at 5 o clock ... the lights do NOTHING for saftey! i am pregnant and i most of the time have a 6 year old in my car if something happens to either one of them i will be going to the court because everyone speaks up about this issue! now is the time to fix it.

HVCC cannot be to blame for the way the students drive off of their campus...ah hello people that is the Troy Police Dept's jurisdiction! All HVCC can do is patrol their own parking lots, once you pull onto Route 4....it's out of their control! Another thing, it is not all HVCC students running the red light at the bottom of the hill. I have lived up in that area for 25 years and trust me A LOT of people run that light, does it still happen in the summer....why yes it does...and there is a lot less HVCC traffic then!

It was never said HVCC students only break the traffic laws but without them I doubt we would have 35,000 + vehicles daily in that one spacefic area so the probability that most of the offenders are HVCC is a good one.. but not set in stone. I have seen the officers for the HVCC off the campus as well and some of them are also Troy Police so they are actually "on duty" at all times and a "Community College" should be considerate of "The Community" most work well with the neighbors. So with that I would say Yes to expecting the College to do its part with controlling a traffic situation that is dangerous for its students, faculty and surrounding neighbors and their children, we can't all turn a blind eye. Also, why is it since you brought it up regarding Summer that we have no accidents in the area until the college opens up, then they are daily??

It will never be fixed, no one cares enough until a tragic accident. Then I suppose another LAWSUIT FOR THE TAXPAYERS OF TROY.
