Description

At the first hairpin turn on this trail, coming from the JMMC employee parking lot, the shrub right at the turn has grown so high and wide that visibilty of what is coming up (or down, if you are going up the trail toward the parking lot) is obstructed. I've had several near-collisions with bicyclists and walkers at this turn, simply because we cannot see one another. It's just a matter of time before there is a serious accident. Other switchbacks on the stretch of train are all clear so one can see oncoming traffic. The image included shows a cyclist going up the trail toward the parking lot...he cannot see what's coming down.
