Descrizione

The pedestrian path at the bottom of the John A Lynch Sr Memorial Bridge that meets George St. ends on a high walled sidewalk that as a cyclist I have to stop and get off my bike to get on the or off the path, the high traffic area and lack of signs make it dangerous, it would be beneficial to have a ramp somewhere to make it easier to maintain speed and avoid traffic.

I agree, this crossing is horrible! Pedestrians and cyclists are given absolutely no design consideration to cross the high-speed traffic here. How about some actuated lights like at the train station crossing on George Street? Maybe raise the road surface a bit? Curb cuts and a crosswalk at the very least!

As you can see, there's a big hill going up so it'd be nice to have some momentum going. I agree with Michael that there should be better indication that there's a pedestrian crossing there.
