The sand should be safe for people to enjoy

Safety of the public is priceless. I pay taxes and this needs to be done. These beaches need to be safe.

I agree! My casehound developed a rash while we played on a beach once.

All I have to say about this is wow people are special.... Sand is nothing but crushed rock and other mineral particles to include DIRT!!!

That is not the case. It should be safe and clean for the public to enjoy.

Rhonda, It cost money to clean the beach. It cost money to pick up litter. It costs money to run a city. We can only do so much in a day. We have been the victim of budget cuts. We only have three workers now when we had 74 just a few years ago. We are overworked and under paid. we need a helping hand. Not a hand out, Just a hand.

Public works beach division have cleaned the shorefront for the holiday. It looks great! We thank you public works! You never let us down and still find time to carry the support departments!
