Description
Is there a real purpose to the stop light on 16 Mile just west of Groesbeck near the RR tracks? It's a one way light. The westbound traffic doesn't have to stop, only the eastbound traffic. All it does is cause a horendous back-up, sometimes all the way back to Moravian. I see absolutely no reason for that light!!

According to our traffic engineer, this issue should be resolved once the current construction project is done. The signal is there to prevent a back up of vehicles from the Groesbeck signal from going over the RR tracks. It is also on a delay to give traffic a green light a few seconds prior to the green at Groesbeck to keep the traffic flowing smoothly.
If you have further questions on this or other road-related issues, please contact the Road Commission directly for a faster reply at geninfo@rcmcweb.org. Thank you!
