Please know weeds must be at least 12 inches tall and cover the majority of the yard before action can be taken. A seven-day notice is given to property owners to correct the issue. In some cases, it can take up to 30 days before the City can take legal action against those in violation. Updates will be posted here.

The Code Officer reported that the yard is not in violation per city ordinance because the tall grass does not cover the majority of the yard. However, as a courtesy, the officer contacted the property owner and asked him to mow. The owner stated that he would get it taken care of; the officer will follow up for compliance.

The officer reported that the property was mowed.
