Daily at about 4pm this entrance ramps slow speed forces traffic to backup significantly onto the northbound Brookshire. There are almost daily accidents in the right lane of the Brooklshire as cars suddenly stop and get rear ended, or as cars attempt to merge into the crowded exit lane.

The entrance ramp of I 77 needs to be changed into a dedicated merge lane so that cars are no longer required to stop or slow for an opening in traffic to enter. If the northbound right lane of I77 were changed into a dedicated entrance lane, traffic would continue to flow at a constant speed without backing up onto the Brookshire.

Try and get the accident statistics for the exit lane of the Brooklshire and you will see a huge number of accidents.
