I agree with the comments below. This person complaint is ridiculous.

That would be ridiculous! The rotary is so easy to maneuver through and it isn't even crowded. How often are there accidents there really? People need to focus on their personal driving issues before they try to change our town and it's landmarks.

Rt 63 and Rt 4 are state highways, making the flag and its light a matter for the state, not the town. The Congregational Church on the rotary had to change the lighting on its sign because it shined into drivers' eyes. I have seen a daytime motorcycle accident at the rotary. First there were a pair of glasses by the rotary. Further down Rt 4 East was the motorcycle and further east from the motorcycle was the driver. He lived.

The light has been redirected away from on coming drivers and has been slightly dimmed.
