Description

on 5/11/09 at about 1047p, an NHPD cruiser driven by a white male cop w/ close, almost-shaved hair, tailgated a car all down Chapel St., w/in 2-3 ft of the bumper. I didn't get the # of the officer, but GPS would surely ID him, if the NHPD uses it. . He was preoccupied w/ his laptop, and did not have his siren lights on the roof. The car in front of him was going the speed limit, and it appeared that the cop was being impatient, but wouldn't pass. I saw him do this to 2 cars. he should have just put his lights on and sped past. This would be accepted/expected. Then, they both turned onto East St, a left, and as the person signaled and moved over to the rt lane to let the cop pass, the cop made a right turn onto Water St from the left lane in FRONT of the person doing the speed limit, seriously almost causing a bad accident, and a lawsuit against the NHPD/city. Cops like this are not showing courtesy, professionalism and respect. I do not feel safe here. This unwarranted behavior is not acceptable fro normal, law-abiding citizens.
