We are definately waiting for an accident to happen. We need 2 STOP signs at the corner of Emmett Ave and Fall St....the signs need to be place coming from both sides of Emmett Ave...on the corner of Fall St....I have seen cars going so fast that they actually are hydroplaning.

I do NOT want this "fixed".

Fall Street is a dead end street with a total of 5 houses fronting the entire length of that street. This is yet another attempt to use stop signs for NIMBY "traffic calming" without any basis in evidence, only a vague feeling that someday an accident could happen.

Emmett is clearly the "through street". Fall Street already has stop signs. Looking in Google Maps Street View, there is nothing at the intersection that would obstruct the view of a person with normal vision to see those oncoming "hydroplaning" cars and wait until they go past.

"Through street"...is that a made-up phrase....how about when school starts and children must cross the street with these cars flying by with musci blasting...just last year I witnessed two children crossing Emmett thinking that flying car was far enough away to cross. The car ending up screeching and hitting it breads, swerving and fishtailing. Had there been STOP signs at this particular intersection, the car would have been going much slower to come to the stop....something has to be done and quickly.

Driver vantage point looking south from side street - retaining wall and parked cars. I've been here close to 10 minutes - exactly one car has come by.
