Description
The sidewalk on the north side of Wilson Blvd at the Clark Construction site floods every time it rains. Usually it's not visible until you're 3/4 of the way through the covered walk, so either you have to 1) turn around and walk all the way back to the entrance and cut across traffic to the south side, 2) walk through 3+ inches of muddy water, or 3) walk in the middle of Wilson Blvd to avoid this section.

Arlington County DES had its construction managers discuss the flooding the the contractors at this site, and a drain filter was replaced a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven't had time(and there hasn't been rain)to monitor.
This 2-5 inch tropical system (9/30) makes for a perfect day to check on drainage. I just drove through the intersection from multiple directions/lanes, and did not witness significant flooding in any of the pedestrian pathways.

David- thanks for your efforts. I actually took the picture this morning (9/30), and the sidewalk was still flooded. It's also difficult to see this portion from the road (it's in the middle of the "tunnel," so it's possible you were looking at a different section.
There wasn't anyone at the site this morning, so unless they unclogged the drain between 8:30 AM and now, I don't think it's been fixed.
