Beschreibung

Opposit 2514 22nd St. NE is illegal dumping all the time. Requested sign to be place in the vacant lot area to detour people from placing trash,furniture etc.. there. Need "NO ILLEGAL DUMPING SIGN" I have been complaining for 5 years. Also area always has lots of trash, fence broken down, need to be repaired. Vacant lot encourage neighborhood teens to hang out there and trash, especially on weekends. Witnessed 2514 & 2515 and 2513 place bulk furniture at this site.

The problem has "NOT" been resolved. I sent information to Mayor Fenty at the time. I want to take pictures and get others to join in the effort. I am still working on this aspect of the complaint. I will follow up. I now have to start over because we have a new mayor at this point. This issue still need to be addressed. As of today, someone has place bulk trash at the location mention. Look like a frigerator. Will need to call the mayor's office for this to be picked up.

The bulk trash has been pick up, however people still put their bulk trash there. The sign has "NOT" been placed. I have attached a picture of the site with more dumping. We need a sign on the tree. Or maybe placed on the broken fence.

Witnessed people from 2514 dumping "new" bulk trash in front of the tree yesterday. Baby furniture is there now. Government pickup the other bulk furniture before Thanksgiving. Now they have place more bulk furniture opposit their address next to the tree. They should be served a notice regarding their bulk trash and where they should place it. Also there still need to be a sign posted on the tree stating "No Illegal Dumping" This is a on going problem for the neighborhood. Make our property devalued.

Problem has not been resolved. Still have illegal dumping. No sign placed yet.

The issue has been resolved. There is now a "NO DUMPING" sign. There has not been any ilegal dumping there since the sign. Thank you for this "springboard" to get this issue addressed.
