Description

White box truck with expired plates from 2016 is parked daily on the 800 block of Walker Avenue. Vehicle's registration expired over 2.5 years ago; how can this vehicle be properly insured, let alone have passed CA smog requirements. This vehicle is used daily around 7am and is typically parked in exactly the same spot as two people put their cars in the spot (usually a silver Honda CRV) to hog the spot for later. This vehicle is not observing normal driving rules and needs to be cited for expired registration, lack of insurance [if applicable], and not being smogged. Moreover, this vehicle is too large for a residential area. This report has been made at least three times before with no action by the City of Oakland taken - please do something to remedy this situation; it causes stress on the block. Thank you.
