To get onto the Beltway Inner Loop from Southbound Wisconsin Ave (MD-355) there is a left hand merge lane which ends in about 3/4 mile. However, many self-centered types are jumping the queue during congested times and treating this as a passing lane. It's bad enough that this was engineered as a left merge to begin with, but these jerks are adding to the merge issue, not helping.

Someone please post a "No Queue Jumping" or "No entry from right lanes" notice, post a high fine for this behavior, and enforce it. I have witnessed at least 5 rear-end collisions at this location caused by thru traffic entering this lane for no reason other than selfishness.
