Deskripsyon

i call the borough of Pottstown at least once a week from the shopping carts being left on Potts Drive and King Street from the Bright Hope Community. I get it that they cart their kids around and groceries, but bring them to their house, not in front of ours! The borough said they can't fine them for taking the carts b/c Walmart & Weis wont allow it b/c they will lose business. I want this to stop!

It's not only King and Potts Drive. West Chestnut has them too! If Walmart and Weis's don't want the offenders to be fined then maybe we should have the police fine the stores for allowing their carts to be left on our yards.

These carts create a very dangerous situation. Driving down Potts Dr or the other streets in Pottsgrove Manor, swerving around the carts and the continous walkers that choose to walk in the middle of the street and not the sidewalk. This is a disaster waiting to happen. I do not understand why they continue to put their childrens lives in danger by walking in the middle of the street when there are sidewalks available. And why they leave the shopping carts in our yards when they can walk them to Bright Hope and leave them in their own yards.
