Went by this address and 665 Melrose on Thursday to take more picture. E mailed them to Building and Safety. E mail this morning says they are working on both addresses.

On Saturday, June 29th, 2013, I saw a rat in my back yard. The rat came out from between the fence at the back of my yard, which seperates my property from the blighted property behind me on 711 Melrose St. To say the least, I'm very upset about seeing a rat in my back yard, because where there's one there are more. Rodent infestation has been a major concern of mine regarding the blighted property behind me, as well as the fact that it's unsafe and unhealthy as it stands. Every home in every neighborhood is at risk of being invaded by rodents because of blighted properties. This property needs to be demolished and cleaned up immediately in order to eliminate the growth of the rodent population.

The trash on this property was cleared up on Friday, September 20, 2013. Thanks to everyone who voiced their concerns regarding this matter.
