Brewer PD, please step up some traffic monitoring here when the train comes through. All week I have witnessed vehicles stopped on State St as they should for the red signal and the railroad signals, however, traffic coming opposite from Parker K Bailey whom also has red lights from the traffic signal and the red light from the railroad go right through while the train is crossing, not only could you have a bigger mess should the train derail by some slim chance, but what I also notice is when the train has cleared the way, and the lights are going back into their cycle when the way is clear, traffic STILL goes through the red lights, even when State St is finally green, I almost took off someones nose of a car for doing that. People seem to think they are invincible to the law, and with two violations at once, this could be a quick lesson for drivers and worth the time of the police department to put some detail here.
