I've never had an issue with the speed of the light, except if you are traveling on Townsend going across Main towards lighthouse. If you're on that end of the stick, especially in the AM the light moves quick.

Try going the OTHER way- FROM Lighthouse, right onto Main St. and see if it is the same.

ha...you take your life in your hands. Especially in the AM with the soccer moms and their SUV's. No offense ladies out there, but that's no time to do hair, makeup and have breakfast while reading the morning paper. Vicious!

If no one else is concerned, the it really is not an issue

The original issue was the length of time it takes for the light to turn green- doesn't matter if it's morning, noon or night! It wasn't for a left turn signal at Townsend and Main. It takes FOREVER to change to green coming down Townsend Ave. towards Main St. It is FASTER to go up Frost St., left down Beacon to Main St. then it is to wait for the light to turn green! Just because no one else commented here doesn't mean they don't care. How many people even know about this site. It wouldn't hurt if the state sent someone down to check it out. Many times I see the state at the control box on the exit ramp coming off Exit 50 and wanted to stop to complain to them, but there is NOWHERE to stop!
