There is no stairway from Maple Street bridge to the Shore Line East train station. To get to the station, pedestrians have to walk over 100 feet south and then 100 feet back north again.

Since $5.4 million is being spent to enlarge the parking lot, perhaps $50,000 can be spent to put in stairs here too?

It seems that the station was not designed for pedestrian use yet there is a non-trivial number of people who walk to the station each day.
