Thank you for using Improve Detroit. The City of Detroit does not have the resources to repair a home's driveway or driveway approach, as these repairs are the responsibility of the homeowner. Our goal at the DPW Street Maintenance Division is to is to maintain the City of Detroit's roadways in order to promote safe travels within the City.

Thank you for using Improve Detroit. This sidewalk complaint has been referred to the City Engineering Department for investigation. Sidewalk repairs and replacements are completed only at the time when the street is resurfaced, during construction season. Thank you, because the foot of my driveway was perfectly fine prior to the City of Detroit repaving our street. Also, the sidewalk shown in this picture was like this when the street was repaved and it was not repaired at that time. Now it is turning into a mini sinkhole.

Could you please update me on the status of this work order?

I submitted this request almost a year ago could someone update me on its progress. I have heard nothing regarding this issue. The City of Detroit was out repaving Warren Avenue as well as the side of the bar on Rockdale at that time they could have repaired the foot of my driveway and sidewalk that they messed up when they repaved Rockdale 5-6 years ago.
