Opis

I just can't understand why this building and property is allowed to remain in such a terrible state. It is on a highly traveled road and it needs to be torn down and the area cleared out. It is staring you in the face as you enter or exit the Acme Shopping Center. The average homeowner in Ridley would never get away with such deplorable conditions, why has this been permitted to go on for years?

Horrendous! I agree, tired of looking at that property everyday. Who owns this now anyway? It is unacceptable that it looks the way it does. As always..until enough people complain, nothing will be done. I suppose some phone calls to the township might help?

I remember when it was the Chariot. Good place for lunch. I heard that Wawa has bought all those properties from Virgo's down to their current store. They intend to bulldoze that whole row and put in one of those bigger Wawas with gas pumps. But I don't understand why they haven't done it yet. I agree, that Virgo's is an eyesore.

It's the perfect place for one of those super Wawa store/gas station. Is the Sunoco going, too, then? When can we expect to see this all happen? It has been way too long, and we need a decent gas station. The BP is ridiculous!

I agree. I'm boycotting BP anyway, but their prices were always out of line. Speaking of out-of-line prices, if Wawa does build a super store with gas pumps, the Sunoco will go away, either immediately b/c they were bought out, or eventually as their prices are undercut by a Wawa right next door.

My guess is the Sunoco is part of the whole deal, since it is between the current Wawa and Virgo's and those super Wawas need a LOT of space. At least if they're done right. Won't it be nice to have at least a little more parking there!

Why is the old Virgo's lot & Car Wash lot just being ignored. It looks terrible & now trucks are parking there in the mornings. Today(10/29) there was 2 PECO trucks in the old Virgo lot & the guys were having there morning coffee & smoking. Is that what my local taxes are paying for? Ridley Township needs to do something. Call them @ 610.534.4800.

It has been rumored that Wawa owns the ground was going to start construction on super Wawa between using property at Virgos and car wash. Due to economy they put project on hold. Just rumored but somewhere to start
