Description

There are numerous trenches, potholes and uneven road surfaces on 18th Street NW between E and L streets NW that damages vehiches and creates unsafe conditions for drivers. This section of 18th Street NW needs to be completely resurfaced. For more than a month, a trench covered by steel plates that extend across 18th Street NW, has created an unsafe condition for drivers due to the large gap between the plates and the road surface. Drivers routinely slam on their brakes when approaching this trench, uneven road surfaces and numerous potholes along 18th Street NW. DDOT needs to resurface this unsafe section of 18th Street NW.
