Description
In June 2010, a large tree limb that fell, hit a parked car and broke the windshield, was cut up by firefighters but left on the sidewalk. The city never came to remove it even with requests to 311. All that was done was the police put caution tape up *across* the street where a branch on a different tree is hanging precariously.
The fallen limb is becoming a garbage dump with people just throwing their garbage in the branches. It won't be long before vermin start hanging out in it either!

This picture was taken the day the limb fell. It is still in the same location, but more broken up and the leaves are all brown.

actually, that tree went down more like in april or may. the problem is, the pieces of the branch are simply too large to bundle up for the city to take away if one does not own a chain saw, so the city really needs to take care of this as it is a city tree, it is on city property, etc.

OK - I noticed that the tree with the hanging branch got trimmed. But the limb that fell on the car is *still* on the sidewalk, a menace to parked cars and collecting trash daily. This photo is the limb as of today.

Thank you for your feedback! We have been informed by the Department of Parks & Recreation that it should be picked up by the end of this week.
