Fire station is right on the southwest corner. There's a traffic light west of its driveway, apparently to make sure traffic stopped at the Garfield intersection doesn't block fire trucks.

I'm so glad that the Macomb County Road Commission fixed this intersections light arrangement. NOT!
How can they spend millions of dollars on these new "Smart" light systems only to disrupt and just flat screw up the traffic flow is beyond me. There was nothing wrong with the previous light system. Now the duel light for the east bound traffic guarantees you'll be stopped at the intersection and block the fire stations drive. There is no way you can get through the intersection with the light timed this way. What a crock!
What really bothers me is we pay these jerks to screw it up! They couldn't engineer a driveway, much less a road!

It would seem that all of the "newly installed" traffic lights on Garfield are dorked up. All the way up north to at least 19 mile road.

this light that controls east adnwest bound traffic on Clinton River needes to be corrected the timimg is at approxamently 11 seconds long ,this is totally unacceptable .

Been some improvement in the timing the last few times I've been through the intersection.
