The garage should be torn down. The garbage hauled away and a lien placed on the property. It was in the paper last summer under something should be done. They only thing that has happened is more junk has been tossed there!
First the property owners fault. Next the city. Countless phone calls and what has been done?Nothing. People dump in the alleys because they know the city wont do anything.
There is a group of kids living no more than fourty feet from this dump. I feel bad the family living nearby. I hope they think all of the US isnt this way.
I hope a family wanting to send thier kids to the U doesnt take a wrong turn down any alley. The City should hold its head in shame. Clean it up and put a lean on the property. If the property owner doesnt care shouldnt the city? How about the carbage has been there so long it has ivy growing on it! Come on. Basic laws are there for a reason. Use them.
OKAY....I GIVE ! WHAT EVER WE ARE GONNA DO LET'S DO IT! MUCH MUCH WORSE SINCE A TREE FELL DOWN AND NOW IT'S COVERING THE ALLEY IN BITS AND PIECES! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S WORSE - MUCH WORSE.
This could be a nice neighborhood. but the city has to get pro-active about cleaning out these deadbeat home owners - condemn 'em if they can't clean 'em up! We have people walking blocks to throw trash in others' dumpsters. Not fair and not sanitary. Clean it UP, Scranton -w hat do we pay taxes for?
