I reported the same more than 2 months ago. This is one of the worst examples of National Grid and its subs tearing up city streets with abandon and not restoring anything properly. Who is responsible for this mess? It should NOT be the city govt or the residents. Is National Grid a supreme being?? Do we have to get the Public Service Commission involved?

when our street was done it was subcontracted to a firm out of Rhode Island - of course National Grid is in "charge of them". our street started out pretty decent so we didnt have the pothole issues that are being reported here. many of the streets mentioned look pretty bad even without National Grid's subcontractor being involved. are these potholes still not filled from the winter or new holes caused by National grid (it sure keeps the speedsters in check)

Bike riders beware!! Albany is supposed to be bike rider friendly but this set of potholes still hasn't been paved over after a week on Clickfix! This multiple pothole area has been here a long time and exposes both cars and bikeriders to danger.

AgIn--this is national grid's fault. The city is talking with them to solve this issue which not only affects Glenwood Street but many others in Albany. National grid and its poor Record of redoing the gas and electric systems under the street need to be made responsible for this lousy work. Neither the city nor it's taxpayers should foot the bill for their arrogant disregard for doing work correctly.

"Arrogant disregard" is a great way to put it!! There was a severe gas leak after National Grid's Rhode Island sub finished their messy installation at Fairview & Oakwood 2 weeks ago. Resident near leak had to call Grid for 4 straight days before they came and repaired the leak (and left a dust bowl mess behind - see my Issue about major dust problem just posted at this location). Even people walking there dogs past poorly done repair reported strong gas smell as well as frustrated homeowners. Grid only responded when homeowner near leak called so many times they responded just to shut her up!!
