Now that the National Grid contractors have finished their street work and left, we now have our very own toxic cloud of dirt dust next to my house every time a car drives by. There is no sign of a water truck or street sweeper to lessen the dust cloud. I am amazed that there is no coordination with DGS and the National Grid contractors to minimize this problem. If I had breathing problems I would have to leave my house but thankfully we are leaving for a week's vacation. If I could upload a video on this site then you would be able to see the dirt cloud. A normal once a week street cleaning will never fix the problem. A sweeper need to go over this thick layer of dirt 10-15 times before it gets better.
