الوصف

National Grid contractors are now working on my street installing new gas lines. In general they are doing a good job. The problem is the untreated layer of dirt they leave on the roads when they are finished. I noticed that after any of their work is finished in my neighborhood (Maplewood St. for example) that there is no attempt by them or the city to clean the dirt off the streets and a toxic dirt cloud fills the air whenever a car or truck goes by. Even my bike kicks up dust when I bike down Maplwood. You'd think either the contractors or the city would be on top of this situation and would provide a water truck and/or street cleaner when they are through instead of torturing the residents for many weeks with a toxic dust cloud, Rain has helped the situation somewhat but I am not looking forward to this cloud happening on my street.
