The pull-up exercise bars fell into disrepair and were eventually removed. This is an important exercise for people of all ages. It is a mistake to have exercise equipment confined only to certain areas. This type of exercise is important in many ways including spine and back muscles. City leaders had suggested in the past the friends of White Rock Lake may replace it but this has not been done. It needs to be scheduled by the park maintenance department with priority.
