Dear DDOT, On July 17 2018 I was struck on the 1200-block of G-Street NW by a Virginia registered vehicle while rising my bicycle. As my testimony to the police report indicates the vehicle attempted to conduct an illegal turn crossing double yellow lines. As the image indicates the double yellow on this block is very faded and will need to be painted. Given that I was struck by a vehicle and given recent bicycle deaths I ask that you prioritize providing proper double yellow paint on the street to deter illegal driver behavior. Thanks in advance.
