Description

Almost every day, a driver heading towards the Marlow/Foothill 580 onramp turns left into my lane right in front of me and I have to slam my breaks not to hit them as I approach the intersection to go under the freeway. Today again it happened. I honked and hit my breaks and was inches from ramming her as she turned left into invoking traffIc. She didn’t even look at me! There’s been several accidents in that intersection. Pretty much everybody lives in sheffield village has to deal with this problem every day . How come you consider this low priority a low risk ? How many car accidents do we need in that intersection before you’ll do something about the signals? What about pedestrians!? Bicyclists!? I’m not an expert on traffic signals but I would think a full stop before they turn left on Foothill to go onto the freeway would be a good solution. It may be as simple as putting up a stop sign. It would force them to stop and pay attention before they turn left.
