Description
Dangerous construction site near 7075 Skyline Blvd
Today I was going down Skyline between Elverton and Huckleberry Preserve. A truck, unloading scaffolding at the construction site there, was occupying the entire lane. There was no flag control or anything like that. I had to cross over into the oncoming lane on a blind corner, in the exact spot where a woman was killed doing that earlier this year.
Please, if you're going to build a bazillion-dollar mansion on a cliff, have the courtesy to pull permits for your work. If you're going to block the road, you need a permit, and a condition of that permit will be that you have to have a 2-way traffic control with flagmen. It's quite extraordinary to expect everyone else to just maneuver around your workers and materials.
