Vacant house that the city is proposing to tear down is Over grown with grass, bushes, weeds & trees making the area unsafe. We should not have to wait until it happens or someone gets hurt.

You can try calling Troys "zero tolerance" anonymous tip line and leaving a message. 270-4404

Although, I think Troys zero tolerance code enforcement program only pertains to buildings N-O-T owned by Troy.

Troy obviously has plenty of "tolerance" when it comes to properties that it owns. Sad but true.

If anyone else owned that property, code enforcement would be all over them with fines, demands and court dates.

Not so Tim - They only do that to owner occupants. If it were owned by someone other than the city, no action would be taken on it. They only go after the easy fish.

Ok. They have now posted a notice on the bldg stating to be torn down, but no date. Anywhere from 8/1 - 9/30? That's no enough info people. We want a real date.
