Description

Property adjacent to the south side parking lot of the Oyster Cove Condominiums is full of trash, broken machinery and damaged boats, and is surrounded by a broken down chain link fence.

I think the address is 213 Front St and it's owned by River Front Development LLC, with a listed address of 195 Front St. Pretty sure this is Fereshteh Bekhrad's property, part of what was to be the Oyster Harbor Village (http://oysterharborvillage.com/fereshteh-bekhrad/). I have no idea how to contact her; not sure if she's living in her condos @ 750 / 760 Quinnipiac or somewhere else. She does have a tenant or two on Front St in those buildings; maybe leave a message with her there?

Photos have been attached. We have also noticed first appearances of raccoons and skunks on our Oyster Cove Condo deck, both of which most likely came from this blighted property.

As an update on this issue, most of the required remediation has been done. The inoperable boats have been removed, the vegetation cut back and the over flowing dumpster has been removed. The pay-loader though unsightly, is holding up the pier/dock. At the hearing the owner requested, we proposed a few viable options to secure the pier so that she can remove the machine, which she is still working to get in place.

Please LCI, this is an obvious nitpicking issue, this person would complain if the Quinnipiac started flowing too fast. These pictures make nobody feel the pain, especially not me. You want the fence down then offer to buy the property or get used to it, its New Haven. At least the city has not approved(yet) a 4 story low income rental eh?
