Beschreibung

The light on Sunset Ave. at Gtown Pk. has a "No Turn on Red" sign which should be removed. It's perfectly possible to make a right on red from that corner rather than waiting three to five minutes for the light to change.

I COMPLETELY DISAGREE. The true need for the No Turn on Red is to limit traffic through this residential area. Too many people use this as a cut-through, and removing this sign will make it worse. Use Whitehall Road to get from Township Line to Germantown. Also, work on your patience.

Its not going to get better it will be worse ..with the hospital coming. Traffic is bad as it is now.

Either make it so a vehicle can turn right on red, or fix the light!!!!

I AGREE. I live in this neighborhood and it's a damn long light to sit through. There used to be mornings when I waited up to five minutes for that damn thing to change just so I could turn right on Germantown Pike. Now I just turn anyway. That sign is pointless.

The worst thing is that VERY OFTEN, people do right turn on red anyway. I've also seen people speed up to the light when it's green so they can make it without having to wait...

The "No Turn On Red" absolutely needs to be removed. 9 out of 10 times the light won't change unless a car comes from Sandra Ln.

I'd say about 50% of the cars do the right turn on red anyway. Living in the neighborhood I've seen it all, even turning left on red. Cars backing up to try and trip the signal again, flying down Sunset to make it behind another car so they don't have to wait another 4 minutes. I think it actually makes it worse.
