As it sounds like you're already aware, only MPD is available to issue parking tickets on Sundays. You should consider calling them -- without a call, issuing tickets likely remains a low priority.

This issue community wide is being discussed at this weeks ANC meeting as well as with the MPD. please contact your ANC Commisioner to make sure they are aware of the problem too.

Please call MPD to have these vehicles ticketed. The church paster is very aware that they are NOT ALLOWED to parking in the bike lane, but people continue to do so every week.

The churches have so much political power in DC that I wouldn't be surprised if the DC gov't resolved the issue by doing away with the bike lanes rather than ticketing illegally parked cars.

Nope, think MPD will ticket them if called. DDOT favors the bike lanes over illegal parking.
