All the cross walk lights along the Golden Gate Park and along Park Presidio Boulevard should automatically favor people rather than cars, period. The only place they have changed this (finally) is at the Rose Garden. Both of these streets (Fulton and Park Presidio Boulevard) are constantly used by pedestrians, bicyclists, buses. Besides the parks themselves, they also have schools, churches,businesses, synagogues and medical facilities either along them or very close by. (14th Ave. and Funston) It is a critical safety issue that the City and MTA pay attention to this and change these cross walk areas to favor people, not cars. I deal with this every day and it is a disaster waiting to happen.
