Where is the Mayor and our City Administrator on this? Bend the rule, cut loose with the bucks for Code Enforcement (that says they have no more budget for corrective measures such as this). Schaaf's Liaison, Bruce Stoffmacher and Miley's aide, Darryl Stewart have taken the time to come out and assess the situation. Unfortunately, as of this morning, NO ONE is willing to take the lead. In the meantime, the neighborhood suffers. Is our City so broken that it now expects citizens to be their own Public Works Department as well as police force? Perhaps, news cameras and neighbor/citizens up in City Hall is the next step. Otherwise, my guess is that everyone who could do something will just wait it out hiding behind the City's 30-day ordinance. Shame on them for not doing something now and shame on us for letting them get away with it!

Sadly, the answer to this rhetorical question appears to be "YES".

CLOSED??? CLOSED??? There are sofas piled three-high in front of this property. We demand this be cleaned up now. No waiting until next month. We'll refile this today; DPW can't be allowed to pretend they've done their work. Call the Mayor's Office now and demand immediate cleanup and fencing! 238.3141. Please do this now.

Two surprises: first one that DPW said the the issue had been addressed, 2nd one that ALL THE JUNK ILLEGALLY DUMPED SINCE THE HOUSE FIRE IS STILL THERE ON THE SIDEWALK! HOW INSULTING!

Yes....I'm here now. And the same illegal couches and extra garbage bags/etc are still on public sidewalk and have not been cleaned up/removed or even moved.
I have again this time removed debri/clothes etc ....from the street since there is still many people rumaging through burned house still and leave ing in road/sidewalk etc.
If we reopen this tag....I would be glad to help if city workers need it.
Also I will remove house total $150.00 hr rate if city wants!!!

Also as I removed debri from road more rats ran around sidewalk house!
