Description

Traffic Signals on Northampton between I-64 and Diamond Springs do not sync properly. The way the lights are currently timed doesn't allow for proper flow of traffic. Traffic gets backed up for several lights and creates undue congestion. One example is when you are sitting at a red light, 2 lights ahead will be green but no traffic proceeding through the light. Light sitting at turns green and proceed to the next light which is red. By the time you reach that green light, only about 1/4 of the cars get through it because it has been sitting green for a while already. Then back sitting at a red light. Construction doesn't help.
