A. As a pedestrian crossing Lyndale on 53rd Street multiple times a day, I'd appreciate the walk signal to automatically display when the light is green. If I hit the crosswalk button as the light is about to turn green, the orange hand displays and leads me to believe it isn't safe to cross. This is an intersection with a lot of foot traffic and it should be friendlier for pedestrians.
