Dear Jack,
Your article today on the new lights at Clinton and Harbord overlooks the obvious need for those lights. Grace and Manning are southbound one-way streets and Clinton is a northbound one-way street in that area. Many people living in these neighbourhoods use Grace/Gore Vale to go south from Bloor to Queen and they use Clinton to go north from College to Bloor. They are good alternatives to Bathurst. Before, without the lights at Clinton and Harbord, vehicles would inch forward blocking the eastbound lane to wait til it was clear to fully cross both lanes of Harbord. The new light makes the crossing a lot safer and more regulated for drivers in all three directions. It seems to me that you didn't interview anyone in the neighbourhood beyond the complainant. Many people could have told you about this obvious need due to the one way streets in our neighbourhood.
