The left turn signal at this intersection (heading north on Village Rd. onto Fayetteville Rd.) is red for far too long. Cars are lining up in both lanes and less than half go through once it turns green. Now that Leland MS and No. Brunswick HS are open, the traffic has increased significantly. Also, having 2 lanes turning left here when only one can continue onto Fayetteville Rd. is ridiculous and dangerous.

This intersection is another example of poor design. The left most left turn lane should be for u-turns and traffic turning into the driveway by Walgreens. The right most left turn lane should be for Old Fayetteville Rd traffic. This would split the traffic more evenly and get traffic through the signal.

I totally agree with "Bridge Driver"! The light for this left turn should also be lengthened; too many cars end up getting stuck at this signal and have to wait for 2 or 3 signal changes.
