In response to your request relative to the status of the Jackson Street Bridge, I can say it will be closed indefinitely. The City Departments will meet to determine the course of action of restoration recommendations to the City Council and Mayor.

The Bridge is Still Closed due to Structual Concerns. Waltham Should use Funds from the Accelerated Bridge Program to Make Repairs.

This bridge is a not a City of Waltham bridge. The state has been out to inspect it. We are waiting for a report from them and a decision on whether it will be reopened.

The State Department of Transportation should Replace the Bridge with a New Concrete Girder Bridge or Rehabilitate the Structure.

This Bridge is Now Open but the Problem is Still Not Resolved Until this Bridge is Replaced.

The Bridge has been Reopened and the Old Rotted Wood Deck will be Replaced by the state with a new Wooden Deck in 2011.
